1933 Schilling Spice - Chili Tepines Box
I am always amazed how these cardboard spice boxes from the 1930's survive with the spices inside still! This red and gold box stands 3 5/8ths inches tall. It is clean and in good condition though the top has been masking taped shut at one point and there are still some remnants of that tape.

Stillmeadow CookBook by Gladys Taber
This large paperback cookbook is a reprint of one issued in 1947. It is a wonderful rendition of quality foods that are tasty and relatively easily made homespun recipes. The breads and rolls are sensational, the desserts very good and the main courses divine. There are 330+ pages and every one is a treat to read and a delight to make.

1995 Tony The Tiger Plastic Cereal Bowl
This cute plastic TONY THE TIGER bowl has the Kellogg's logo, the Best to you Each Morning around the edge and Tony on the bottom of the bowl. It is in reasonably good condition with some light scratching but nothing too major. It is dated 1985 on the front. The back says, Made in China, Dishwasher safe.

Vintage Kellogs Rice Krispies Plastic Bowl
This fun plastic bowl is a recent version of the vintage characters, Snap, Crackle and Pop of Rice Krispie Fame. The bowl measures 1 3/4 inches high and 6 1/4 inches in diameter. The pictures do show some significant wear. The back is marked, NEVINS INTERNATIONAL, Made in China.

This great plastic pickle pin is in excellent condition and measures 1 1/4 inches wide. It has a safety pin type back. Other than the HEINZ name, I don't see any markings.

Pressed Diamond Glass Rock Candy Jar
Try as I might, I couldn't get a good picture of the neat pressed glass pattern on this bottle. It runs on either side of the bottle 4 1/2 inches up the side. The entire bottle is 6 3/8ths inches tall. It once held, Rock Candy, Rock & Rye, from Dryden & Palmer, Long Island City, NY. The jar is a screw type with a metal top. The bottom is embossed with the words, "Rock Candy Products, D&P Quality, 7"

Red Schilling Spice Box - CELERY SEED
This 3 1/4 inch spice box still contains a goodly amount of its original contents. (at least, that which is not on my desk) It is a foldover box . The box is in nice condition.

1938 Handbook of Food Selling, Kalispell MT
This handbook states that its mission is to provide the seller with selling facts and other daily-needed pointers, essential to greatest success in the retail food business. It was written by Alexander Todoroff and published in 1938. There are 64 pages. It is a question and answer book with questions such as, "what are budded walnuts? (larger and better than regular walnuts) " or From what kind of grapes is amber colored grape juice made? (Catawba) or What is evaporated milk? (60% water content removed). It is a very interesting reading book!
