Vintage George Washington Painted Plate
I find it interesting that this very American plate was made in Germany. It was imported for an American company. This plate measures 6 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with a lovely handpainted gold rim. The design is a lithograph. The back reads, Made in Germany, Imported by LC Kasselman, NY.

This lovely plate is marked, P T, Bavaria. It is a bright green and gold and fuchsia pink on white handpainted plate and measures 8 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition.

Burgundy and Gold Bavarian Handpainted Plate
There isn't anything prettier than the handpainted plates from RW Bavaria. This 7 1/2 inch plate is no exception. Unfortunately, some one left something on this plate to discolor the rich burgundy tones of the center. The gold paint is near perfect and there are on chips or cracks. The plate is marked RW BAVARIA on the bottom.
