Paula Vaughn Finished Counted X Stitch Pictur
I don't know for sure that this is a Paula Vaughn, but it surely looks like it to me. The soft colors and the old fashioned designed worked on oatmeal colored fabric seem like her touch. The picture is oval and measures 10 1/2 by 8 1/2 is is beautifully worked and framed in a blue plastic frame with rose colored cotton lace. Unfortunately, it isn't signed.

1982 McCall's Afghans Design Ideas Magazine
I love looking thru the older design and pattern books. You find such fun patterns. Sometimes, the colors need updating, sometimes they are just cute and funky the way they are shown. This magazine is Vol 5 of McCall's Design Ideas. There are dozens of Cozy Afghans to knit or crochet - some have matching pillows too.

Vintage Dragon Wall Hanging or Quilt Kit
This is just the cutest little quilt pattern I have ever seen. It is complete and dates to 1979. It was one of a group of patterns with this one containing the dragon (not very fearsome). It doesn't appear to have been used.

Sunset Magazine Needlepoint Techniques Projects
Though the cover of this softcover book shows some wear, the inside is clean and incredibly useful. This is a perfect book for beginners or those with some level of experience. It has some great pictures and the instructions for the included projects are easy to follow even for those who are not terribly handy (like me). The book has 80 pages and though written in 1972 has some great trendy projects like the zebra print checkbook cover.
