Another Holiday Medley - Nina Owens Tole Painting Somewhere along the way, I picked up several tole painting books. This is one of my favorite artists, Nina Owens. And my favorite subjects are fall holidays. This large soft cover book has 78 pages of full color items to paint for the fall and winter holidays. There are scarecrows, and plenty of Halloween and Christmas designs too.

April 1966 Familry Circle Magazine - Easter This 1966 edition of Family Circle is a wonderful look at life, crafts, cooking and family life 43 years ago. The crafts are wonderful even today and the spring hairstyles from Paris are a riot.

How to Raise - Train a German Shorthaired Pointer This soft cover cook book was put out in 1961 and explains the finer points of raising and training German Shorthaired Pointers. It is a great book which covers all areas of the breed. It is illustrated and was written by Arthur Liebers.
 

Get Hooked on Collecting, Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments This lovely hardback full color book was put out by Hallmark to showcase its collectible ornaments circa 1996. It is a lovely look at the ornaments of 10 years ago. There are 24 pages within.
 

Graffiti int the BIG TEN This paperback book is just a riot. I finished it because I couldn't stop reading it. The book covers graffiti found in restrooms in the stalls of the BIG TEN Colleges. The Authors' note reads, We did it for truth. Underneath that, it reads, Truth flies like an arrow. Fruit Flies like a banana. And it just gets better. There are 146 pages of bright and witty graffiti.
