Culinary Arts Institute 250 Sauces, Gravies, Dressings This great paperback book hails from the Culinary Arts Institute of Chicago, circa 1950. There are 48 pages of superb vintage and not so vintage sauce, gravy and dressing recipes. There are plenty of photographs to aid in preparation.  

Cookery Today This old hardback cookbook isn't dated, but I would put it in the 1920-30 range. It is a hardback version of traditional techniques and recipes in 150 pages. If you like to try your hand at old fashioned cooking, this is a great book to do it. The binding is loose on this old guy but it is still hanging together.  

300 Ways to Serve Eggs - Vintage Cookbook This fabulous vintage cookbook dates to 1940. It really does give 300 recipes for making and serving eggs. It hails from the Culinary Institute of Chicago and has 48 pages of great recipes. There are lots of black and white photographs.  

Stillmeadow CookBook by Gladys Taber This large paperback cookbook is a reprint of one issued in 1947. It is a wonderful rendition of quality foods that are tasty and relatively easily made homespun recipes. The breads and rolls are sensational, the desserts very good and the main courses divine. There are 330+ pages and every one is a treat to read and a delight to make.  

Montgomery Ward Cold Cooking Cookbook 1941 I am amazed at the condition of this cookbook. It looks new and here it is 67 years old. The cookbook originally came with a new Montgomery Ward refrigerator. There are 150 vintage recipes for meals such as Ham Buffet Loaf, Coffee Caramel Ice Cream and Chilled Vegetable Soup. The soft cover book contains 56 pages.  

1950 Hamilton Beach MixerCook Book This product manual for the 1950 era Hamilton Beach stand mixer is full of helpful hints and recipes. It is a paperback with 50 pages and some black and white pictures.  

1930's Magic Shortcut Recipes for Auto Refrigerator This 13 page antique brochure was put out by the Borden Co circa 1930-40 era. It has great recipes using an automatic refrigerator which was quite a novelty then!  

Vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster Cookbook If you like me love the old cookbooks for the pictures as much as the recipes, then this vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster Cookbook is a treasure. It is in good condition with 39 pages of super recipes and hints on using your new mixer.  

1937 Heinz Book of Meat Cookery This terrific paperback cookbook hails from the Heinz Company circa 1937. It has 107 pages of recipes using Heinz products in relation to meats. There are some great vintage recipes such as Veal Birds and Pork Chops with Baked Beans.  

1950 Culinary Arts Institute 250 Refrigerator Desserts Though the days are getting cooler, there is always a time and place for a chilled or frozen dessert. This paperback vintage cookbook gives you 250 of them. There are all kinds with lots of black and white photographs.  

1947 Mirro matic Pressure Pan Directions This cookbooklet came with the Mirro Pressure cooker circa 1947. There are tips and recipes for using any pressure cooker, not just this one. The Veal or Lamb Stew with Dumplings caught my eye. There are pages of cooking times for various foods as well as wonderful classic recipes. The booklet has 58 pages.  

19 Star Recipes for Delicious Pies and Candies - Knox These recipes were developed prior to zones so I am assuming 1930-40's. There are 19 super recipes for items such as Chocolate Chiffon Pie and Rainbow wafers.  

500 Delicious Salad Cookbook - Culinary Arts Institute This fabulous vintage cookbook dates to 1940. It really does give 300 recipes for making and serving salads. It hails from the Culinary Institute of Chicago and has 48 pages of great recipes. There are lots of black and white photographs.  

Electrolux Cookbook - 1935 This soft cover cookbook was compiled by the Electrolux refrigerator sales Division - Which I didn't know ever existed. It has 49 pages of very vintage but delicious recipes and some awesome pictures of period dishware and tablesettings. If you like this era, than this cookbook is a must have.
