Set of 5 Round Red Bakelite Buttons These are great little buttons for crafts or for sewing projects. They are approximately 1 CM in diameter and do vary slightly in color as old bakelite will. They are drilled on the bottom for use as buttons (not beads)and are in great condition.  

Set of 5 Carved Black Bakelite Buttons These are great buttons for crafts or for sewing projects. They are approximately 1 1/8th Inches square and are two hole sew thrus with carved decorations. They are in great condition.  

Huge Carved Black Bakelite Button This neat black bakelite button measures 2 1/8th inches in diameter. It is a carved bakelite two hole sew thru. It has the definite smell of a bakelite.  

2 Red Carved Art Deco Style Buttons These two buttons are very Art Deco in feel. I believe that they are Bakelite but I wouldn't be the farm on it. They are two hole sew thrus and measure 1 3/8ths inches in diameter.  

Red Bakelite Bar Button This geometric red bakelite bar button measures 1 3/4 inches long. It is a one piece button with a self shank. It is in great condition.  

2 inch Carved Bakelite Button This two hole sew thru is carved bakelite and measures 2 inches in diameter.  

Mint on Card, Catalin Plastic Buttons These two hole sew thru buttons are nothing special if they weren't on their original card proclaiming them to Catalin type plastic. They measure 7/8ths inches tall and are in excellent condition.  

4 Bakelite & Metal Buckle Buttons These four buttons have a bakelite backing and a metal buckle front. They measure 3/4 of an inch tall and have an applied plastic U shaped shank. They do show some verdi gris on the metal buckles.  

Red Flower Shaped Bakelite Button This very cool red bakelite button measures 1 1/4 inches tall. It is a two hole sew thru. I do see a bit of pitting on this button.  

Bakelite Beige/Brown Domed Button This very cool button has a decided Art Deco look with the sharp geometric lines and warm cream and brown color. The button measures 1 1/16th inches in diameter and has a round wire shank.  

2 inch Brown Carved Bakelite Button This very cool button is just a hair short of 2 inches in diameter. It has the greatest coloring and a round wire loop on the back.  

Bakelite Beige/Brown Vintage Button This interesting vintage bakelite button is a two hole sew thru measuring 1 1/8th inches in diameter. It is ridged and textured and colored in beige and chocolate brown.  

Brown Bakelite Diamond Shaped Button I am a sucker for the neat Art Deco shaped buttons. This big, 2 inch by 1 7/16ths inches two hole sew thru is the best of the era. It is bakelite plastic with a real Art Deco feel.  

Carved Red and Clear Bakelite Button This gorgeous button is an early carved bakelite with an embedded round wire shank. The button measures 1 3/16ths inches in diameter.  

Carved Bakelite Brown Buckle This neat carved bakelite buckle is chocolate brown. It measures 1 5/8ths by 1 7/8ths inches and is in great condition.
