1950 Good Housekeeping Classic Knitting Manual This large paperback book comes from Good Housekeeping circa 1950. It is a classic how to book for knitting sweaters for the whole family. These are pullovers, cardigans and cable knits, the kind of designs that never go out of style. The book has a repaired cover and looks like it has been well used but is still very very usable. Though my favorite pattern in the 35 page booklet is the pink poodle tissue cover, you might be more inclined to try the yarn dolls or slippers or even the diamond patterned rug.

Robin New Soft N Easy Brushed Sweater Patterns This wonderful pattern book from Robin Wools of England contains 10 different knitted sweater patterns using the new Soft n Easy Brushed Super chunk wool yarn. The book is in excellent clean condition. The knitted sweater patterns are contemporary enough to work for today and I certainly haven't seen anything else out there like these.
