Sunset Magazine Needlepoint Techniques Projects Though the cover of this softcover book shows some wear, the inside is clean and incredibly useful. This is a perfect book for beginners or those with some level of experience. It has some great pictures and the instructions for the included projects are easy to follow even for those who are not terribly handy (like me). 1978 Phyllis Kluger Victorian Designs for Needlepoint This is one of the most unusual and nicest books of design for needlepoint that I have seen. It focuses on Victorian type designs and has everything from Frank Lloyd Wright circles to the design on the front of an old National Cash Register Machine. They could be adapted to bead work, or counted cross stitch as well. The patterns are easy to read and there are 86 pages of designs and projects.
