This wonderful book was written by Eric Sloane and published by Funk and Wagnalls. If you like tools, this compendium of early colonial time tools holds a wealth of knowledge. There are lots of drawings and great passages about the use of each tool. Though not my thing, I found this book incredibly interesting.
