Sometime ago, I used to collect Horse Bridle rosettes. This US Cavalry rosette was one of my favorites. It is solid brass with the US insignia and went on either side of the horse's bridle brow band to hold it to the headstall. The rosette measures 1 13/16ths inches in diameter and had the weathered look of a well used brass piece. |
